How do you protect outdoor rocking chairs?

You can do 1 of 2 things, you can buy slip covers that fit over the chairs or you can bring them in during the rainy months. If you don't have room inside,put them under some type of covered porch. Also make sure you put a protective coating on the chairs. Like a wood protector, this will help from rotting.

If they are wooden chairs you need to treat them with a weather protector such as Thompson's Water Seal, CWF, Cabot Lodge, Super Dek the list goes on. Most can be brushed or sprayed on. Read the directions some will need to be applied every 1-5 years.
