Yes, authentic Hitchock rocking chairs start at about $250.00. They were made by Lambert Hitchcock in the mid 1800's. the wood quality must be good. Many painted desgins on them. If in good condition and you can wait a while, wait , the value will increase.

They can sell as high as 200+, but that is obviously in good condition. If you keep holding onto it the value will increase as they become harder and harder to find. If your family bought this for the original price of $1.50 then you will make a very heft profit even if you sold it today.

I have seen antique hitchcock rocking chairs selling for as high as $225. 00. They must be in good condition. These chairs were made in Connecticut by Lambert Hitchcock. If you go to antique sales, ask around to see if someone is familar with these chairs.

No they aren't really worth much but you can compare prices of the newer versions of the chair on Ebay and craigslist. Maybe on those forums you will be able to compare and see the worth of both items. I say you go check on those websites as soon as you can.

Hitchcock rocking chairs are the best,since Hitchcock means suspense to me and that means you can have a very different rocking experience from the Hitch cock rocking chairs.
