To program a universal remote is very easy, you need to look up the codes for the tv, dvd or whatever you wnat it to run and then follow the instructions and in no time you will be up and running.

I usually program mine by hitting the component button, and then the on/off buttons. Then hit play and see if it works in five seconds. If not, hit reverse and try again.
