Phones that can be plugged/hooked to a computer usually display information saved to the memory card, such as mp3 files and pictures. Text files can be uploaded from the phone to the computer, but they must be saved on the memory card. You can copy/paste the message into a small text file on the phone and upload it from there.

You can send the text message to your email account via an email text from your phone. Then, go to your email, retrieve the message you texted to yourself, and print it out on a regular printer from your computer.

Unless you have a printer that connects to your phone, you should email the text message to your computer and then print it out. There are some high tech, expensive ways that I know the police use, but I don't think that would work for the average citizen of this country.
