Make sure you keep your legs moisturized all the time. It's best to shave in the shower because your pores open up helping with razor burn. Use shaving cream and apply aloe or lotion as soon as you dry off. If this doesn't work you should try the Schick Intuition razor. It's moisturizing for your skin.

Some tips include using a good shaving cream, moisturizing well before and after (if possible) shaving, shaving under water, or using depilatory creams or wax instead of razors.

Make sure your razor is sharp and try not to shave dry. Use soap, conditioner or shaving cream when you shave.

Use a new razor blade when shaving and make sure it's of a good brand. Old razors accumulate bacteria which can be transferred to the skin during shaving thus increasing the chances of getting razor burns on legs. Don't forget to apply a shaving cream on the legs before you start shaving to minimize the risk of getting razor burns.

To prevent razor burn on your skin, always use an oil like Coconut or avocado to shave with instead of using shaving cream. Wet your legs to open the pores, apply the oil and then just shave as usual. This will also make your legs nice and smooth to the touch and there will be no razor bumps.

Try taking an anti-inflamitory like Tylonol or Ibuprophine 30 minutes before shaving. Be sure your razor is not dull, and soak your legs in hot water for atleast 10 minutes to soften the skin. Use hair conditioner as shave gel to ease the razor over your skin. Use an alcohol-free moisturizer after you shave to prevent burning.

Razor burn can be due to a blunt razor or improper shaving technique. Make sure you have a sharp razor and keep the skin wet, shave in the direction of hair growth, don't apply too much pressure, and resist the urge to go over the same spot multiple times.

You will have to try different razors and creams to see which works the best for you. The problem may not be curable, but see what works best.

Always use a fresh razor, and choose one with at least three blades. Be sure to exfoliate with a loofa before you shave and use a shave cream.

Apply a warm damp cloth to the area to soften hair and open pours. Use a moisturizing shave gel or lotion and shave in the direction of hair growth. Follow with a moisturizing after shave lotion to help heal cuts and scrapes.
