Razor bumps can be stopped by changing your shaving habits. Use shaving machines instead of razor. Shave away from the bumps and in the a constant tempo. Razor bumps are caused by ingrown hairs, so try to shave everyday if possible but dont spend more than 2 days without shaving as this will cause the ingrown hairs to grow back.

First, use a clean razor. Apply a warm damp towel the open the pores, then use a moisturizing shave gel over the area you wish to shave. Work in the direction of hair growth and do not apply too much pressure. Follow with a moisturizing after shave lotion.

There are several easy ways to stop razor burn. One way is to use shaving cream instead of soap. Shave after your shower. After shaving lubricate your skin right away with a good body lotion.

I have a great solution for this. It is called Bump Patrol and comes in a very small bottle at Wal Mart. You will be amazed at the results if you use it liberally after each shave. I tried several other products and old school remedies but this was by far the best.

Making sure you use a shaving creme and an aftershave lotion will stop most razor burn problems. Also try switching to a higher end razor with a better conditioning strip if the problem continues. Do not shave dry, this will exacerbate the issue.

You could try applying an aloe lotion after shaving or using a gentle shaving lotion during shaving. Shaving under water (in the case of legs, etc.) can also help.

Well, be careful when using the razor. Apply lotion or any other substance with vitamin E prior to shaving. After shaving, apply the after shave balm or lotion. Be sure to make a paste out of turmeric and grains which will soften the skn and alleviate any pain that comes from the burns.
