Plaiting hair is a form of twisting and weaving parts of the hair. With braiding, the woven hair remains close to the scalp. With plaits, the woven hair dangles.
First, gather a section of hair. Then you divide that section into three parts as equal as you can. Finally, start overlapping one part over the other-like weaving a basket.
