How do you paint pinstripes?

First paint the wall with the base color, next use a ruler to tape off lines using the blue painters tape and then paint the stripes between the tape.

The best way to paint stripes on a wall is to paint the entire wall one color, tape off the stripes and paint over the original color with stripe color.

First you need to mask up the area you want to apply the pinstripes to. You can use ordinary masking tape for this. Once you have the masking tape in the correct spot, paint on your pinstripes in the desired color. Wait for the paint to dry and then carefully peel off the masking tape.

Use tape made for sticking to the material you will be painting and place it side by side leaving a space for the stripe width you want and then paint.

You take painters tape and make a pattern on the wall. leaving about 3/4 inch between the wall and the tape. Repeat until you do the whole wall. Take the roller with paint and paint only the part of the wall that has no tape. Pull tape off when dry.

Hard project! Use blue painters tape and a tape measure and apply to the wall and paint inbetween the taped lines. Look on youtube to see a video or google.
