How do you organize your home?

The first step is disposing of things you no longer need, especially old papers. Then pick one room at a time to organize. Every day, no matter how busy you are, put away everything you used that day and a little more. This builds the habit of organizing every day.

I started in the kitchen because it is the hub of my home. A lazy susan contains my storage bowls,rotating knife rack,and spice area. After that the rest was easy, just place things where they were the easiest to reach when needed. In the rest of the home, think where it needs to be and put it there.

A trick to keep your home organized is to have baskets in every room. Put things that go in that room in a basket. Keeps it neat.

I organize my home by taking on a drawer, room one at a time. You can do this weekly and before you know it, it is organized.
