Can a lien from a credit card company on your home result in you having to sell your home?

No they cannot make you sell your home. But if you go to sell the home they will have to be paid as a result of the sale.

In most states, they cannot force a sale of your home to pay off the debt. However, the debt will be paid from the proceeds when the house is sold.

This is an unsecured debt so before they start any legal proceedings against you start sending them a small amount each month. Once you are paying they have to stop.

Yes if you have not been paying your dues and it is long overdue than the credit card can put a lien on your home which means you have no other alternative but to sell your house.
