How do you open up a laptop for repair?

Usually this job is best left for professionals. This is because of the complexity of the parts in a notebook. I highly reccomend you hire someone for this task. However, if need bee do a search online for taking apart the XXX where XXX is your brand and model number.

First of all, its not recommended that you do this if you are not qualified. It may void your warrant. But in case you know what you are upto, then there are videos on youtube that may be able to help. Basically you need to unscrew the screen, then lift up the keyboard plate and you have access to internals.

First remove the battery from the laptop and then remove the power cord and unscrew all the corner screws of the laptop cover and now you can repair it.
