PS2 memory cards have can house lots of saved game data but get rid of saved files for games you don't own or won't play again if space is limited.

Without a disk in the PS2, browse the contents of your memory card. Delete any stored games that you don't need anymore to make sure you have enough room.

You manage your play station two's memory cards through the systems browser menu. If you have not auto played a disk then there will be a memory card icon for each memory card you have plugged in, each labelled depending on the slot used. Press X to enter, and use the X button to select saves there.

Most memory cards, both from Sony and other brands, come with labels. I write which games are saved on which cards, then store them together in a zippered pouch.

The easiest way to manage your memory cards is to turn on the PS2 without a game in it. When the main menu comes up, press "X" on "Browser." You can then choose between however many memory cards you have inserted (Up to 2). From there you can copy and delete saved games and other data.

I manage my Playstation 2 memory cards by placing the cards in the cases of my favorite video games. But I only have 2 anyway.
