To make slime you need two ingredients, polyvinyl alcohol and borax. They can be purchased from a chemical store. First of all you will need to dissolve the two chemicals separately in warm water. Then add the borax solution slowly into the polyvinyl alcohol solution. After a while, a gel will form and you have made slime.

If you want to make slime the way that they make it on Nickelodeon's TV channel, you could try dying some vanilla pudding green and try eating it. Another thing that you could do is mix green dye, water and a lot of corn starch, this may make something like the slime you are looking for.

There are two recipes, the first one requires water and corn starch, mix them together in a ratio of 1:1, this makes a non-newtonian liquid and hardens when hit quickly. The second requires Borax, white craft glue and water, mix 10ml of water with 10ml glue with 5ml of Borax. This creates a polymer chain is a form of rubber.

Small paper cup of water + spoonful borax laundry powder; stir. Another cup, one inch white glue, three tablespoons water; stir. Add one spoon borax mixture to glue: SLIME!

Tkake 1 cup of cornstarch and place in a ziplock sandwich bag. Add to it 1/4 cup of water and what every color of food dye you want to make your slime. Carefully press the axcess air out of the bag and seal shut. Slowy knead the bag to mix it until smooth.
