You can make a voodoo doll however you want. Traditionally they incorporate hair from the person that they are depicting, however this really does not matter because voodoo and voodoo dolls do not work. While voodoo is a practiced religion, it has never been proven to actually work, and if it did, voodoo dolls would probably be illegal.

Unfortunately, despite everything shown in tv and movies, voodoo is not a real phenomenon. It's a superstition that requires both people to believe in it. That said, if the subject believes and you have a real object from that person, it's a good (albeit sinister) start.

A voodoo doll is made by making a doll that is representational of the real person. It should share characteristics of the person.

You have to have a photo of the person; or a strand of hair. Use a gingerbread man shape, stuff it with cotton add the photo and it's done!

It is not a requirement. can be helpful to have a item such a small piece of hair or a picture. If cant find one there are pre-made voodoo dolls.

You do not have to have something real, but it helps. The important thing is that the doll represents the person in the practitioner's mind.

You need a possession from the person you're trying to use the voodoo on. Normally things like a piece of hair or something they discarded earlier will also work.
