Connect a tape player to your computer and use software to record it as an MP3 or WAV file. Then use any burn software to burn it to CD

Connect the cable of the casette player with a male - male connector to the computer input and play the casette. Use software that records the playback as mp3 or other audio form as it it goes through the soundcard to the CD and burn it. Use rca connector for output.

It's actually pretty simple. All you need is an old style boom box radio, with the CD and the cassette spots, and the 'record' option on the buttons. Then you simply put the tape into the slot, and put the correct recordable CD in place, and hit 'Play' and 'Record' at the same time.

there is soft ware available to convert the cassete in to cd format. Philps selling five in one audio recorder where you can covert your Cassete to CD

The easiest way to make a CD from a cassette would be to get a radio that can read cassettes and write to a CD. That radio will allow it. Otherwise get a cassette reader for a PC and then burn the recording to the CD
