How do you know when it is time to get a divorce?

If you are not sure then it is not time. Marriage is a life long commitment and divorce is not an easy process. You should review all your options, go to cousling and have an honest heart to heart with your spouse before making this deceision. If once you have had these discussions you still feel this way

There are many reasons for a divorce. One thing is that the couple grow apart. They don't want the same thing any more. Sometimes dreams change and you don't have the same dreams as your spouse like you once did. People cheat on each other. Sometimes you can't seem to trust the other person any more.

If you are no longer emotionally attached to your partner or care what happens to them then maybe its time to move on. Also if your home no longer is a happy place and you want to be anywhere but there then definitely move along and cut your losses.

If you have to ask this question then the relationship was over a long time ago and you should get a divorce. If you have kids don't stay together for them, it will just hurt them in the long run.
