Well, the best are usually the most expensive. You can't really go wrong with that. If you can spend 3000 $ on a laptop, chances are that it will be a high end, state of the art machine. If not, you should really learn to read specifications like processor power and ram capacity.

Find one that fits what you're looking for. If you're looking for one for work type purposes, it wouldn't make sense to get a great gaming laptop, just a waste.

Try to find the optimum for your needs and budget. Take a look at quality of service too. Dell and other vendors let you configure the laptop to your needs.
