You may feel a sharp pain similar to an electrical shock. You may also feel some numbing, ingling, or cramping. A pinched nerve will often resolve itself without intervention and is probably not a sign of anything serious. If it does not go away or you feel it interferes with your daily activity in a significant way, see a podiatrist.

Your foot will be painful most of the time, but not always. Would not be able to wear shoes comfortably, it would cause a "shooting pain" in foot. See your healthcare professional to have it diagnosed. If it's a pinched nerve, you could have a "nerve block" injection done.

A pinched nerve may feel like a cramping type of pain. Your foot may feel seem to be paralized or unable to readily move, similar to a Charlie Horse.
