How do you kick a teen out of the house?

My teen son is tearing our family apart and he needs to go for a while, can I do that?

some here must not have teenagers with issues...when you have a alcoholic or drug addicted teen that runs away all the time...they should be told to clean up or get out period. life has rules, follow them or fend for yourself

First try extended family and see if he can stay with them for a time, giving both you, the teen and the rest of the family time to calm down. That way you can perhaps look at positive solutions without loosing contact. It will still give the teen a safe haven and security and peace of mind for you.

You should try to work things out first. Kicking your son out of your house is going to make him feel like he is worthless, and it is only going to be a temporary fix. You need to figure out what is wrong with him and try to fix it.

My suggestion to you would be to call another family member in another state and ask them if he can stay with them for awhile.
