It depends on the type and weight of the tiles you are installing. Glass and ceramic tiles generally require mastic and stone tiles require a mortar or thicker product. Read the directions with your tiles and adhesive product carefully. With color variations, dryfit your tiles before cutting them. Use a wet saw to cut your tiles uniformly.

After picking out your favorite colored, patterned or textured tiles from a home hardware store, get some tile adhesive and follow the instructions on the box!
