If you have bathroom outlets/receptacles, they NEED to be ground-fault (GFCI) protected.
Refer to the NEC (National Electrical Code) and your local building codes.
Most bathrooms have lights & receptacles on both sides of the vanity mirror;
so you need to run armored or double-insulated wire to one side
and over or behind the mirror-cabinet over to the other side.
