Drain the coolant, remove the serpentine belt, the water pump pulley, and the water pump. Scrape the old gasket off of the engine block with a putty knife. Line up the new gasket with the new pump with gasket sealer, and bolt it onto the engine. Reassemble the pulley and belt, refill the coolant. The new pump/gasket should have instructions.

Drain the coolant from the system. Remove the fan and fan shroud (usually at the same time since it's a tight fit). Remove the belt and any loose pulleys. Remove the coolant hose from the pump (pending year and model). Locate and carefully remove the bolts holding the pump. Clean the gasket surface very well. Reinstall in reverse order.
