Start slowly, but do some stretching every day. You may want to start with a beginners program and from there, week to week you will see some type of flexibility improvement.

Stretching! The more you stretch, the more flexible you will become. Also yoga and pilates exercises will help improve your flexibility

By doing stretching and lots of it. Static and dynamic stretching are the best ways (an internet search can show how to do these). Yoga is also highly effective.
