Use infant tylenol or motrin. Read the instructions based on weight for your child. If the fever is high, use motrin because it tends to do better with the aches and pains caused from fevers.

A fever can be treated with Infant Tylenol. Consult your doctor as to how much to use for your child. Fever lasting more than 2 days require a doctor.

You can give your baby Tylenol every 4 hours up to 5 times per day. Look on the package or call your doctor for the dosage, which depends on weight.

Give him/her tylenol based on the amounts on the package for age and size. You will also want to be sure that the baby stays hydrated - that is always my big concern with a fever. Offer the baby a bottle frequently. You may also want to buy pedialyte, our doctor suggested it for a fever around that age.
