Use a level when hanging a pendulum clock. It is extremely important that the clock is perfectly level or the pendulum will not move back and forth properly and the clock will not keep accurate time.

When I got my pendulum clock, there was nothing "special" that needed to be done. Just put a nail in a stud of your wall and hang it normally. You'll want to make sure that clock is balanced well on the nail so the swing is not off-centered.
