While there are some home remedies which some people believe help in the treatment of Gonorrhea, antibiotics are typically the best way of curing this condition. Letting this disease go untreated for too long can lead to severe complications, including sterility and erectile dysfunction in males. A doctor needs to evaluate the condition.

Gonorrhea is still usually treated with penicillan. A blood test confirms its prescence. Then you have to give names and addresses of all sexual contacts so they can be notified and treated. Sometimes gonorrhea can be really hard to clear up so you have to take all prescribed medication for the whole time it's prescribed.
