How do you go about potty training Maltese puppies?

start by when ever you feed them move them either outside or to some newspaper, (or where ever you'd like them to start going). The follow up of this is taking them back to this spot on a regular basis, say every 2 hours or so through out the day. But it is most important after they eat and drink.

The same potty training process applies to all dogs - you have to get them in the routine of going outside and walking around at least every hour. You have to praise them and use that high pitch baby voice (haha) to give positive reinforcement. Take them outside immediately if they have accidents inside.

Usually they get a round of shots when they are puppies. This will protect them from diseases their immune systems are not ready for. Then it's usually yearly.

Purchase kennel or play pen. Place bedding and puppy pads inside. 20-30 minuets after every feeding insert puppy into kennel. Reward puppy after bowel movement. Make this a routine

hen bringing home a Maltese puppy the first thing you should do is take them to the area where they should use the bathroom. Then you should take them out every two hours while you are at home and put them somewhere safe away from valuables when you are away.

They are tiny puppies so they have TINY bladders. Take your Pup outside about once an hour to pee. Take them after you seem them drink or eat as well. Train them to sleep in a kennel at night so they can't wander around and pee.
