I would begin by talking to family members and I would obtain any information that I could get. Then I would check any legal documents you have available such as birth certificates, ect. After that, I would search his name online under circuit court records, address records, family tree websites, ect.

This can be tricky. Obviously, the first thing you should do is ask your mom for information. Or, you could ask your maternal relatives for information. If you know a last name this will make your task somewhat easier. In that event, you can search court documents, telephone books and so on.

Assuming you cannot find that information through family then the easiest way would be to hire a professional to locate your Dad, these services are available.

You have a few routes to take; you can hire a private investigator (locater) if you have his name, birthdate, etc. If money would be an issue, try a basic search online for clues. Good luck.

If your mother knows who is he is ask her then do a background check on him. You can find his current information for a low fee.

If you know his name you can search for him on facebook or myspace. (The only issue is if you don't know what he looks like). There are many websites that offer assistance where you type in your background and what you know. If you know his name and state he lives in, try looking at yellow pages online.

I didn't quite like my biological father because he was not a good father at all. He had many girlfriends and many children from different girls.
