There are three main methods to use. The simplest is to cut the blossoms and put them in a vase with several inches of water. By the time the water is gone, they will be dry. You can also hang them upside down or dry them in silica.

In my opinion, the best procedure for drying hydrangeas is to cut them when they are in full bloom and hang upside down in a dark, dry place.
