What should I know about trimming the evergreens in front of my house?

One thing that I know from experience is that when you are trimming an evergreen tree you have to make sure that it is balanced.Meaning that you do not take too much off of one side.If you do it will throw the tree off and the tree can start to lean the wrong way.

When you are trimming your hedges you should remember to look at it from every angle and measure precisely how much you want to cut down and make sure that it is symmetrical on all sides or else the hedge will look awkwardly uneven.
