How do you give pills (medication) to a fussy cat?

I've tried all kinds of stuff and she just spits out the pill.

The best way to be sure you get a pill in a cat is to be sure you get it past the hump of the tongue and the cat swallows.

If you can't get your cat to take a pill by putting it in food, straddle your cat and put it in the mouth on the tongue or in the cheek. Hold the cat's mouth closed and stroke its neck until it swallows.

Try a pill gun. It's inexpensive and can be purchased at your vet's office or most pet superstores. Another alternative is to see if the medication is available in liquid form. You can use an eyedropper or syringe to squirt (as slowly as possible so your cat swallows without choking) into the pocket between her lower teeth and cheek.

You need to get something to insert it into his throat. Next you will need to pet his throat. If you still does not work you will have to take him to the vet. They will have better ideas than I will, because they are trained in dealing with this type of thing.
