How do you get the lien holder's name off a car lien?

I can't sell a car because it has a lien on it. How do I get rid of it?

The car owner must obtain a letter certifying that payment has been made in full. The letter must then be presented to the department of motor vehicles and a new title will be issued.

First calculate the value of the car.Than compare the value amount with the payoff lien duct the Value amount with the payoff u will get the result
