There are some cat pee remedies that you can buy at the grocery store for taking the smell of cat urine away. When you clean up urine, you can use vinegar to take out the smell too.

Biological washing powder.....either machine wash smelly item or wash the floor or furniture with a solution of biological washing powder and water. Do not use bleach anywhere because, for some reason, the smell will encourage the cat to spray there again.
