maybe you should make it romantic try asking him to a movie if in your older teen years and on a walk if your around 14-16 then tell him how you feel if hes ready to be more then freinds he'll kiss you

First I would ask him to do something outside of school with a group of friends. Then, tell him how you feel - when you two are alone.

Walk up to him and start a conversation, talk about kissing and then ask him if he will like to kiss you. if he is interested in you, he might just kiss you, if he isn't interested in you, he will be grossed and walk away
