The manufacture date on a maytag washing machine can be found on the sticker that has the serial number and the model number. It is very clearly printed on that label.

Check where the current rating details plate is and you will find all you need there and the address of the manufacturer if the date is not there.

Unplug the washer, open the door or lid of washer, find the washer label. Look on the label.Label has gray or other back ground.Date is near serial and model number.

The date is on the washer label which is stuck on or screwed in around the outer edges of the seal or gasket, between the door/lid and the washer.

Most washing machines have a tag either on the inside of the lid or door to the unit or wedged in between the door and lid and the seal that keeps the water inside the appliance. Look there and you will soon find the manufacture date.
