How do you draw animals?

To draw animals, use a picture of one and try to copy the sketch. Make sure you practice drawing curves out for the body parts.

Before I draw an animal, I research the animal I want to draw and find or take photos of the animal in different positions. I then make a small thumbnail sketch to get the layout. Next, I sketch it on a piece of tracing paper. Then I'll transfer the drawing to my substrate and refine it.
