How do you do the African twist for hair?

I love the style but I don't know how to do it.

Braid the hair on first as if you're doing a micro braid. Braid the hair until it is about 2cm. From there do a basic double strand twist all the way to the end of the hair. How you style the ends of the twists are up to you.

African twists are pretty east to achieve. First, make sure you are working with clean hair. Then, section the hair into four parts. Apply hair product, such as gel or grease. Make a small section, about one inch, and separate it from the rest of the hair, and twist the sections around each other. Repeat throughout entire the head.

Your best bet is to go on to an ethnic hair website and follow along with the pictures. It really is not difficult but this forum is too small.

There are many how to videos online for all types of hair styles. If you're unsure how to do an African twist, you can google it or check out the videos on YouTube.

Separate the hair on your head into different sections, then take small strands of two and pull and twist the strands together. Use clips or strings to fasten.
