Personally, I think black works best. Geisha's are a perfect example of that. Also long black braids are beautiful too. Try a half and half twist. I often wish I had black hair.

I assume you mean Afro-American hair,not black the color. Your hair can be VERY versatile without excessive processing. Twist your hair UP when wet, using some gel or creme for control. You can consult a stylist for temporary straightening that won't damage your hair, or go full flow natural.
