It works, but the problem with any kind of heat reconditioning is that when the new hair grwoth comes in, it has to be done all over again. it does work for any kind of hair, but this is the number one hassle, is the roots coming in curly/frizzy and having to keep treating the hair.

Thermal reconditioning can work on ethnic hair because it allows the conditioning process to penetrate the hair and give it the needed moisture and conditioning it needs. African American hair does need thermal conditioning to stay healthy, moisturized and strong. If your hair is relaxed, it is especially important to condition or thermal treat hair.

Yes, but but always let your stylist know about any chemical processes that have already been done to your hair, including coloring. Some chemicals stay in the hair shaft and can mix with other chemicals for a disastrous result. Ask your stylist to do a strand test if in doubt.

Yes, it does for some. But you need to consider your hair texture when choosing a straitening treatment. The Japanese method of thermal reconditioning works best on those with fine-medium hair and a chemical straightener would be recommended for those with extremely coarse hair, due to the strength.

It does work if performed properly. You can either do it yourself or get a hairdresser to apply the application. You will notice the hair is incredibly shiny and easier to manage.
