Cutting tile with a wet saw is much like cutting any other material with a typical rotary blade saw. The difference with cutting tile is the heat that is produced. Therefore the wet saw has a water tray and circulation system to cool the blade and the cut. Other than that, it is business as usual.

A wet saw is used just like a table saw to cut tile. Th blade is wet to keep the tile from overheating and chipping. Patience is the secret to success with a wet saw. Feed the tile slowly for the cleanest cut.

It's not diffucult to use a wetsaw as long as you use caution. After you've "measured twice" - as the saying goes - use the saw according to manufacturer's directions.
