To cut tiles at an angle you can best use an electrical disk grinder with an appropriate disk. Alternatively, there are diamond blade, water cool saw tables that are used for big or thick tiles or large quantities of them. Forthinner tiles there are special tile cutters, similar to glass cutters.

Well to cut any tile you should use some type of tile wet saw to keep down on breakage and dust. Just use one with a miter arm that will let you cut at a angle.
