Ribs should be cooked at a low moist heat over a longer period of time to break down the connective tissues. I would suggest steaming them for added moisture and then slow cooking them at 275 to 300 for 2 or 3 hours.
There are many ways to cook ribs,with barbequeing one of the most popular.Korean barbeque is very good,and so is Southern.There is no one right way--experimentation is the key.
