An easy rule to remember is that one tablespoon is equal to three teaspoons. If a measurement is given in tablespoons, divide the number by 3 for the teaspoon amount.
The number of tablespoons will be 1/3 less than the number of teaspoons. So using a calculator, punch in the number of teaspoons and divide by 3 to get tablespoons.
