How do you clean ring around the collar?

I have always used 409 to clean ring around the collar. Each time I wear one of my knit "golf" shirts I seem to have this problem and I spray the area with 409 and let set for 2-3 minutes then toss it in washer. I always follow washing instructions on the garment and just add the 409 step.

Get a bar of Fels Naptha soap. Lay the shirt down and wet the collar area. Take a stiff bristled scrub brush, wet it and rub it over the bar of Fels Naptha and scrub the collar area. Keep splashing on water and scrubbing with the brush and soap.

have you ever tried the magic eraser.. i believe its a Mr. clean product.. and let me tell you i don't know how these things work, but there is nothing that they have not been able to clean for me!!!

Put some lanolin hand cleaner directly on the stain. Allow it to sit at least 30 minutes, overnight is best, then wash as directed.

Creat a paste with oxi clean and water. Paste should have the same consistency as toothpaste. Apply to ring in collar with a firm bristle brush working brush in small circular motions. After application, wash the shirt and let air dry. If ring still remains, repeat process.

Treat the shirt with Oxiclean Laundry Stain Remover and leave it to sit for about 45 minutes. Do not rub it in. Then, clean as you normally would, using Arm and Hammer PlusOxiclean detergent.
