Training collars do not cause aggression. You dog is confused about who is in charge. Speak to your trainer about the problem and find out how to best handle the situation. All dogs are not handled the same way nor is there one, single training method. Your breed and his personality need to be considered.

This depends on the type of dog, how you use the collar, and at what age you begin to use the collar. If you use the collar all the time, and only negatively reward your dog with it, then this could cause aggression. However, if you use it minimally and then reward your dog for good behavior, it's great.

There are many types of training collar on the market and they are great when used properly. If the size, type (for your particular dog) and human handling is wrong then it can hurt the dog which may cause aggressive reaction. Consult with a experienced dog trainer to pinpoint the cause and correct his behavior before it gets worst.

That would depend on the dog and the collar, and who the dog is aggressive to, if its to you, it may be acting out against pain, and training collars should NOT cause pain, it should be quick correction that the dog will not want to repeat but shouldn't harbor aggression over.

Training collars used properly are not shown to cause aggression. The collar should be used for ten minutes at a time when the dogs behavior cant be corrected other ways.
