How do you check if a gas grill tank is full?

We have purchased a magnetic sticker that changes colors based on how much gas in the tank. So I look at the magnet to see how much is in there.

Usually the weight of a gas grill take will help you determine if it's full, partially full, or empty. A typical tank will weigh 17 - 20 pounds when full.

The easiest method is the simple tap. Tap on the side of the tank with your hand. A solid thump with little echo will indicate a full tank.
