How do you change the OSD drive letters in Windows 98 if you can't get to the "/L:(n)" switch in the DOS file?

Physically changing the drive to a different outlet on the motherboard will change the letter. Simply refer to your computers manual and find where possible locations are on your motherboard.

Go to your start menu. Look up Settings and then open your control panel. In System properties you will find the Device manager and then the tab for the CDROM and that should bring up your model settings. From here you can change the OSD drive letter and make any other changes you need.

Go under the start menu and select run. Then type in the drive you wish to select followed by a colon.

Open the Device Manager. Click the "+" next to OSD Click the "Settings" tab. Enter the drive letter you wish to change Restart the computer.
