Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the point where it contacts the engine. This will be the thermostat housing. It's usually held on with a few bolts. Remove the hose and the housing. Replace the thermostat, making sure to align the bleed hole (see instructions on thermostat package). Replace everything and refill coolant.

Locate and follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the top of the engine. Remove the bolts holding that housing on (no need to remove the clamp) Replace the thermostat hidden underneath. Fill the radiator and run the car up to operating temperature (220 F) keeping the radiator filled. Top off the reservoir is need be.

The thermostat is going to be on the right side of the motor near the block of the car. It will have 2 bolts holding it on and it will come off real easy.
