You can catch the Grass Carp with heavy line and strong hooks because they are very strong fish. Corn is good bait for carp although you can buy carp bait at stores. If you do snag one and it's on your hook, let it run but try to pull it in when it slows down.

I find that there are just some really great holes to catch big grass carp in. These "holes" are often beneath dams, and rather grossly beneath waste water treatment facilities.
