Pond fish take a bit of effort. A pond period, is hard to take care of. I would suggest getting a bottom feeder, or two. Pond fish are typically fed pellets.

Pond fish should never need to be fed in a properly balanced pond, as they will get sufficient levels of food from the algea growing.
